3 months agoThe food here is delicious. Open Wednesday through Sunday. Their GUMBO is delicious. I damn near SHED a TEAR. Food seasoned and cook to perfection!!!!!

Edited a year ago2025 Update: Newman's never disappoints! The veggie omelet with well done home fries, rye toast and a side of turkey sausage was on point 👌 2023 Original post: First visit and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the veggie omelet with home fries and turkey sausage. Everything was tasty and the service was warm & friendly. Will definitely go back! 2023 Update: a few weeks later I went back and had the fluffy pancakes and they were delicious!

3 years agoBest Pancakes in town…Hands Down!! They taste like goodness on earth ❤️❤️. I would suggest getting the pancakes alone only because the sides are very unique and not prepared the way you would expect (ex:homefries and eggs) but if your feeling adventurous, get the pancake platter. They dont offer pork bacon as a meat so you have to choose from beef, turkey, etc. Their Homefries are prepared in like a mashed cajun casserole of some sort (can be tasty on occasion) and eggs are not seasoned and taste poured and not cracked. Overall…this 5 star rating post is for the pancakes but I figured it’s best to tell the whole story if you were compelled to get the platter.
